How social roulette works
Roulette resolves bets against a wheel number and its characteristics, such as color or odd/even. Shuffle.us publishes both a roulette category and an Originals roulette game. Read that game’s actual wheel configuration before using any probability estimate.

Inside and outside bets
Inside bets target individual numbers or small number groups; outside bets cover broader sets such as red/black or odd/even. Coverage generally trades off against payout size. Different roulette variants have different wheel layouts and therefore different probabilities.

Worked probability example
On a hypothetical single-zero wheel with 37 equally likely pockets, a straight-up number has probability 1/37 (about 2.70%). An even-money color bet covering 18 pockets has probability 18/37 (about 48.65%). These are illustrative calculations for that wheel configuration only, not claims about a specific Shuffle.us game’s payout or expected return.

Common misconceptions
Past reds do not force the next outcome to be black on an independently randomized wheel. A streak is not proof that a betting system has removed the house edge. For outcome-verification concepts, see provably fair games; verification addresses integrity, not profitability.
